What's a
burger without "French fries?" No
need for any ketchup with these lil fritters.
These potatoes are to MuderKing and
McDeath french fries as Paris is to Newark,
NJ (no offense to the great people of
Newark, just a word of advice: get the hell
out of there!)
2 mid-western potatoes
3 tablespoons butter or rendered carne seca
fat
salt and fresh pepper
Dice potatoes
into 1 centimeter cubes and
season. Heat fat in a medium-high pan until
hot. Toss in potatoes stirring frequently so
that they don't stick. Fry on high heat for a
few minutes until lightly brown.
Lower heat
to medium and cover, stirring
every few minutes until 15 minutes have
passed. The tubers should be tender inside.
Serves 3 people
or 1 Klingon.
